Join renowned thangka painter Carmen Mensink from The Netherlands his evening, who will share her knowledge on Tibetan Buddhist Art. *
The subject of this evening is Manjushri (Tibetan: Jampel-yang), the deity that embodies the wisdom of all the Buddhas.
This evening you will learn all about the background and symbolism of Manjushri, as well as the attributes that he holds in his hands, and that are an expression of this enlightened wisdom.
This lecture is free join, but a donation for the lecturer (see donation box in the back of hall) will be very much appreciated.

* This lecture is part of the weekend course of the thangka course Thangka Weekend Course on Manjushri, where you learn to draw this beautiful Buddha according to the Tibetan Buddhist Tradition of Thangka (scroll paintings).
