Thangka painting classes in Singapore

This month I offered thangka teachings in Singapore, something I do annually, in Jan, Feb or March. This year I gave evening workshops for the Asian Classics Institute and a thangka weekend retreat at the Buddhist Library.

Medicine Buddha
The subject for the weekend course this year was the Medicine Buddha, a blue Buddha of Healing.

The group of students -with both experienced and inexperienced people- worked throughout the weekend in a meditative atmosphere, resulting in the most beautiful artwork of Medicine Buddhas
