I open my mind and heart to the act of drawing, meditating and mantra

I continue to learn on many levels each time I draw a Buddha. What I mean is that not only do I learn technique and skill through practice, but as I open my mind and heart to the act of drawing, meditating and mantra, I receive subtle teachings about myself – what to let go off and what to focus on – how to expand my horizons. It’s a beautiful practice to engage in! I feel such gratitude to Carmen Mensink and the School for Tibetan Buddhist Art for reviving this ancient practice in our modern era!
