The Buddha Course and Testimonials

The Buddha: Online Course

Learn to draw the Buddha according to the ancient  Tibetan tradition of thangka.
Buddha Shakyamuni -commonly referred to as THE Buddha- is the historical founder of the Buddhism of our time. Around 2500 years ago he reached the enlightened state at age 35 and since then was called ‘Buddha’, meaning the Awakened One or Enlightened One.

Besides learning to draw The Buddha in this course, one also learns about Buddha’s life story, meanings and iconography. In addition there are guided meditations on The Buddha, and you’ll learn about his mantra and how to work with it. It’s a very rich course. A package with grids, handouts, cards, a personal note etc. will be sent to your home address in advance.

This course is offered to students on all levels (those without previous drawing experience), but the prerequisite is Buddha Face Thangka Art Course (see below).
