Tara’s Mudra: Online Course
Green Tara and White Tara are the most famous female Buddhas in the Tibetan Buddhist pantheon. Learning to draw their mudra -the graceful Hand holding a Lotus Flower- is a beautiful way to start your journey into thangka art.
In this course one also learns about the meaning of this mudra and the different ways it can be depicted, depending on whether you choose to draw White Tara’s mudra or Green Tara’s mudra (or both!). You’ll also get an overview of the most other mudras used in Tibetan Buddhism, as well as famous hand gestures that we use in daily lives
