Decorating a Tibetan ritual drum

This drum, that’s used in Tibetan Buddhist rituals, was painted with a spiral (a kind of Yin-Yang sign) in the center, in the colors red, yellow and blue, representing the Three Jewels of Buddha, Dharma & Sangha. On the edge of the drum Carmen painted a circle of pink and golden lotus petals.
