I just got back to Amsterdam from the US, where I’ve been teaching in NYC and upstate NY, see the pics in this mail. It was great meeting so many of my long time students again (-and many new ones-and many new ones!)
Currently I’m busy with all preparations for the Thangka Summer Retreat here in The Netherlands (full with waitlist), and I wanted to let you know that registration is now open for most thangka classes this Fall:

It’s always great to be back in NYC!
Different Thangka classes and lectures at the beautiful Tibet House NYC, co-hosted by the Shantideva Center.
Note: the shop at Tibet House Shop now sells my thangka cards! Soon they will be available at their online store, too.
Visiting Long Island for the first time on my free day! One of my students who lives there, Denise, was so kind to invite me and show me around.
A happy reunion with long time students over a fabulous dinner in Poughkeepsie, on the evening before the start of my retreat at Omega Institute.

Thangka Painting Retreat at Omega Institute (Rhinebeck, NY) – first time a full week! With lecture and an exhibition in the main hall for Arts Week. And we celebrated the Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday with Long Life Prayers. See more pics here. The next retreat at Omega will be in June 2026.
