Carmen Mensink featured in Dutch TV Program ‘Zin in Morgen’
Dutch TV program ‘Zin in Morgen has been filming a full day during my last Thangka Summer Retreat in The Netherlands. It was recently broadcasted, and now I can finally show it to you.
This 8min portrait shows me teaching and interacting with my students, who also show their artworks and speak about their experience. In the accompanying interview I speak about how I got in touch with Tibetan Buddhism, the importance it has in my life, my twelve years thangka painting study in an ancient lineage, how I created the Eight Auspicious Symbols for the Dalai Lama and how I met him personally.
