Painting for the Dalai Lama

When a highly respected lama or teacher comes to visit a monastery temple, according to tradition a large painting of the Eight Auspicious Symbols are painted on the ground in front of the entrance: s a painting created by the eight Lucky symbols for ushering in a great Buddhist teacher for the Netherlands came to several times that the Dalai Lama was Carmen asked for a painting in this beautiful tradition, to welcome him.

Lotus flower Petals

Carmen designed a round painting in the form of a lotus flower with 8 petals  and a total size of 5 × 5 meters and in 2014, she made a painting of 9 meters long with the eight auspicious symbols.
