Dutch TV program ‘Zin in Morgen has been filming a full day during Carmen Mensink’s Thangka Summer Retreat in The Netherlands in 2025.

This 8min portrait shows her teaching and interacting with her students, who also show their artworks and speak about their experience. In the accompanying interview Carmen speaks about how she got in touch with Tibetan Buddhism, the importance it has in her life, her twelve years thangka painting study in an ancient lineage, how she created the Eight Auspicious Symbols for the Dalai Lama and how she met him personally.
