Thangka Painting Demonstrations

Carmen Mensink can be hired to give tibetan thangka painting demonstrations at your museum or event. During the demonstrations she will also explain the whole process of creating a thangka, and explain the symbolism of the elements shown on a thangka.

Rubin Museum New York Buddhist art classes

The pictures above and the one below were taken at the Rubin Museum of Art in New York City, during the different ‘Block Parties’ that they organized in the heart of Manhattan, where I was asked to showcase my work and offer demonstrations in painting thangkas.
